Spanish for Adults

Our Spanish for Adults scheduled courses can take you all the way from the basics to an advanced level. Learn the language and understand Spanish countries and their people at the same time through both the course and our extra-curricular workshops and social evenings.

Our Spanish Courses for Adults follow the curriculum guidelines of both the Instituto Cervantes and the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and are designed to prepare students for the official DELE exams offered by the Instituto Cervantes.

DELE (Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language) are the official Spanish language diploma/exams, internationally recognised, granted by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education. The Instituto Cervantes can be compared to the British Council in the UK and it is the number one authority in the world on everything related to the Spanish language. Following these guidelines, our adult courses are divided into the six levels created by these institutions. The inverted pyramid is a great way to understand the learning process. Each level will entail higher proficiency once reached, but also higher commitment of time as levels advance.

Spanish for Adult Beginners A1

A1 LEVEL is divided into 4 modules: each module comprises 12 lessons (24 hours)；96 hours in total.

Spanish for Adult Beginners A2

A2 LEVEL is divided into 5 modules: each module comprises 12 lessons (24 hours); 120 hours in total.

This program prepares you for the following exam/s:

Spanish for Adults Intermediate B1

B1 LEVEL is divided into 6 modules: Module 1 – 5: 14 lessons (28 hours); Module 6: 16 lessons (32 hours) 172 hours in total

Spanish for Adults Intermediate B2

B2 LEVEL is divided into 6 modules: each module comprises 16 lessons (32 hours); 192 hours in total

Spanish for Adults Advanced C1

C1 LEVEL is divided into 7 modules: each module with 16 lessons (32 hours); 224 hours in total.
