Beside of teaching Spanish language lessons, I am responsible for teacher’s training, as well as maintaining and ensuring quality in teaching. My goal is to consolidate an appropriate working atmosphere in order to promote the teaching of Spanish language and culture in the most pleasant and appropriate way for our young students.
Studied in Hispanic Literature and Theory of Literature by the University of Valladolid (Spain), My Ph.D. focuses on inter-textual connections among cultural texts, claiming the notion of Literature as an enormous single book ready to be used by readers and writers. I have published several articles in pear review journals as well as chapters in specialized books in Spanish.
With more than eight years of teaching experience, I am conscious of the importance of attending diversity in the classroom and situating the student in the center of the teaching-learning process. My desire to excel as a teacher led me to Norway, where I took a Master in Special Needs Education at the University of Oslo. This degree has broadened my knowledge about teaching technics and methodologies, which I am willing to apply in Spanish World.

That includes Public elementary schools, Universities and the Institute Cervantes. Eduardo enjoys teaching Spanish because it is a great opportunity to travel and meet people from other cultures and exchange knowledge with people with different points of view. Eduardo shows great interest in all kinds of artistic expressions: literature, music, painting, theater, cinema, gastronomy and he always uses these as a tool to teach Spanish in class. And there is a very important point to note: He loves Dim Sum!

"My passion for languages and teaching has led me to many opportunities of teaching Spanish in a variety of European countries to a wide range of students. I love to travel and learn about new cultures along the way. Working as a Spanish teacher enables me to combine my true passions in life with my career. Everyday I’m not only teaching but receiving a wealth of knowledge about the fascinating culture here in Hong Kong.
I enjoy creating an engaging and inspiring learning environment for my students where they are not only learning the language but also gaining an insight into the vibrant Spanish culture."
From Cádiz, Spain
“During the past 5 years, I have been teaching Spanish in England, Spain and here in Hong Kong, where my love for teaching language has grown while witnessing how learning a second language can bring a positive and enduring impact on life. It is there to enhance the culture, understanding the values, norms and manners of others. People learn who they really are through the learning process and find out how others communicate and live.
Teaching is a challenging career, nothing but rewarding. It requires the best of the teacher but also the aim of learning has to be intentional for the student. There is where the magic and the communication happens, teacher and student are sharing knowledge and both are learning about themselves and their cultures. Could any job be more exciting?”
